Grape Class (EYFS)

I have been teaching in St Richards for more than 21 years!

I have 4 children, 3 boys and 1 girl. 

I love to watch my boys playing football and my daughter dances. 

I have worked with Mrs Bland for 16 years in Early years.

I love working in Early years and watching the children learn so many new skills, but also watching them grow up throughout their schooling. 

We love to see children come back and visit when their older.

Reception Dream Reads - Book List

Our PE day is on a Friday. Please come in wearing the correct PE kit.

Children will take home one dream read book a week and one library book a week.  The library book will have library bar code inside the front cover.  Library books are changed on a Friday. Please make sure your book is in your bag. Please ensure your child has the correct St Richard's book bag.  

In Early Years, we follow the EYFS curriculum. This comprises of three prime areas: Communication and Language, Physical Development and Personal and Social Development.  These are the areas which we focus on to create the foundation for your child's learning. The four specific areas: Literacy, Maths, Knowledge and Understanding of the World and Creativity form the entirety of the curriculum. 

Our children learn through exploratory play and teacher lead activities.
